Our Beliefs

What we believe shapes how we live. 

At Newlife, we look to the Bible to help us know Jesus, understand His truth, and follow Him in everyday life. 

Our beliefs give us a foundation for faith, guide how we love others, and keep us growing together.

What We Believe

  •  The Bible — The Bible is God’s Word. It’s inspired, trustworthy, and the final authority for our faith, how we live, and what we hope for.
  • Trinity — There is one God, eternally existing as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. They’re equal, active, and perfectly unified.
  • Jesus — Jesus was born of a virgin, lived without sin, died on the cross, rose again, and now reigns. He’s our way to new life.
  • Holy Spirit — God’s Spirit lives in every believer, empowering, guiding, comforting, and helping us live out our faith.
  • Salvation — It’s a gift. We receive it by grace through faith in Jesus—not by what we do.
  • Water Baptism — For those who believe, following Jesus through baptism (by immersion) as He modeled.
  • Healing — Through Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection, healing (physical, spiritual, emotional) is part of what God offers.
  • Communion — A time to remember the death and resurrection of Jesus together.
  • The Church — More than a building—it’s all of us, united in Christ. Each person matters, each person belongs.
  • Heaven — Eternal life with God, where there’s no more pain, no more separation.
  • Hell — A reality, separated from God, for those who reject Him.
  • Second Coming of Jesus — Jesus will return literally, bringing resurrection to believers, judgment to others, at a time known only by God.

  Hold fast the pattern of sound words which you have heard from me, 

in faith and love which are in Christ Jesus.
