While this may make you nervous or unsure, the fact remains that the best way to see a friend, family member or co-worker at church is to personally invite them.

When we come from a place of relationship, humility and faith, God is present and will do His part to work on hearts, minds and excuses.

Our job is simple - cross the room, knock on the door, be a good friend, extend the invitation and see what God will do through you.

Here is a useful tool we use here at Newlife called the B.L.E.S.S. practices:

B - begin with prayer for the people you want to invite

L - Listen to their stories, their questions & lean in to the relationship

E - eat with them.  Find a time & place to eat, talk, laugh and share

S - serve them.  Find a way to serve them through relationship

S- story.  Share your story with them about what Jesus has done in your life - past, present, future
